Google sign-in is used only to confirm an email address and check whether that exact address is on the family's private approved list. The site does not request access to Google Drive, Google Photos, Gmail, contacts, or calendars.
Sessions and access
A secure, encrypted session cookie keeps an approved family member signed in for up to 12 hours. Access is checked again against the approved list when a private room is opened, so permission can be removed without waiting for the session to end.
Family media
Photographs, videos, recordings, letters, and family details are not placed on the public part of this site. Private media will be delivered only after a server-side access check when that part of the archive is connected.
What we do not do
This site has no advertising, does not sell personal information, and does not use a Google identity to build profiles or send marketing messages.
Questions or removal
A family member can ask the site owner who invited them to remove their approved email or delete material they contributed.
